Memoir Writing

Every page and beat in a screenplay is to develop and enhance the story -- a story that must have surprises and revelations. With about 40 years of experience, in story telling, I will translate these skills to your story. Our life is a rich and surprising story unfolding and maybe I can assist in some way if you want to preserve and document your life, or the life of someone in your family. 

The cost of writing a memoir or autobiography depends on my participation and could range from a few thousand up to $15,000. Depending on the complexity of content, one can have a printed book in as little as six weeks. 

Ghost Writing, Book Editing

I have co-authored three books (e.g., Enough is Enough, and Truth in Journalism) and more recently wrote The Child Protection Racket. 

Are you writing a book and struggling to finish one, or want an editor?  Depending on the topic, maybe I could be your back-up ghost writer, or editor.

Is the book content technical, possibly medical? I have a BSc Hons (from the University of Cape Town) in biological sciences and have written some environmental papers.

Cost could be quoted on an hourly basis or contract basis.

Docs, Affidavits, Letters, etc.

I am the founder of Gumshoe News, so for over a decade I've been the editor overseeing the 3,600 articles published on-line. For the last five years I have also been working in the background as an affidavit writer -- dissecting the facts and assimilating them into a compelling numbered sequence of events. I have written documents (affidavits, torts, statements etc.) for the children's courts, magistrate, district, supreme and even the high court. I have written letters for others, a eulogy and offered general writing advice. Due to the various complexities of each task, the cost would range from $70 to $150 per hour.
